As you've probably gleaned from my comments and Sairax's comments, I've just been buried at work lately, working 14-16 hour days pretty regularly, and it's been hard to squeeze time in for just about anything other than work, sleep, and the occasional trip to the bathroom. Anyway, there hasn't been too much else going on in the Arsenal world other than letting the win over Manchester United sink in, so those of you who rely on this site for your Arsenal news honestly have not been missing out on a great deal. Wojo came out and said that Wenger was… Full Story »

  2. Arsenal 1 - Manchester United 0: A Measure of Redemption? - The Offside - Arsenal blog

    arsenal.theoffside.com &bull May 1, 2011

Well, that was nice, wasn't it? Does it make up for the collapse we've had since the end of February? No, certainly not. Did it revive any hopes of winning a trophy for us this season? Certainly not. But does it feel great to throw a wrench in United's title parade, beat them for the first time in years, and watch them walk off the Emirates pitch as losers? Hell yes it does. I have to admit, I was pretty ambivalent about this one coming into the match, but I found this… Full Story »

  3. Arsenal - Manchester United - The Offside - Arsenal blog

    arsenal.theoffside.com &bull Apr 30, 2011

Well, not so much any more, eh? After a monumental collapse after the win over Barcelona, we're now just more or less playing out the string, trying to make sure we finish in the top 3. Fans are already more interested in which players will be jettisoned and which players will be brought in than the results of these last few matches. But pride is at stake, and it's Manchester United, and a good result tomorrow will bring us a measure of salvation and something to build on and feel good about… Full Story »

  4. Manchester United 2 - Arsenal 0: Same Old Story as United Send Gunners Packing - The Offside - Arsenal blog

    arsenal.theoffside.com &bull Mar 12, 2011

Exactly two weeks ago, Arsenal fans had our chests puffed out a bit, bandying about phrases like "the quadruple" and "four wins at Wembley." That talk was always optimistic/borderline delusional, but still, it reflected a certain boundless optimism, and was grounded in the reality that we were the only English team still alive in four competitions. Now we won't get back to Wembley unless we buy a ticket, and we're down to one competition. No more knockout ties, and we know exactly what the rest of our season looks like - we've got 10 games to save our season, or… Full Story »

  5. Manchester United - Arsenal (FA Cup) Preview - The Offside - Arsenal blog

    arsenal.theoffside.com &bull Mar 11, 2011

It's been a weird FA Cup for us. We've made it to the quarterfinal, but we've actually played pretty poorly. We were drawn first against Leeds United. Drew the first leg at home 1-1, and had to play a replay, which we won 3-1. We then had Huddersfield Town, and held on to win that 2-1. Then we got Leyton Orient, drew the away leg 1-1, before demolishing them at the Emirates 5-0. So we've hardly been world-beaters. But none of that matters now. Because we're here, and if we've seen that this Arsenal team is capable of playing down… Full Story »
